ArecBalrin – holocaust denier?

Update 8

Pagey has now joined Arecbalrin in the inappropriate comparison of 21st century Britain with Nazi Germany. Here he is on 18 January 2013 12:18 pm

I’d like something on Godwin’s Law – it’s forever being used against those of us who are battling this Government’s “welfare reforms”. Twice I was Modded for quite reasonably drawing comparisons between the way Disabled people were treated in Germany in the 1930s, and the way they’re being treated in Britain in the 2010s by our government and their Atos agents.Historical precedent is on our side.

Earlier he had claimed, about the ATOS procedure, without citing any evidence, that “Thousands have died or committed suicide rather than face re-assessment.”

ArecBalrin 18 January 2013 2:19 pm came to Pagey‘s defence after a challenge to the validity and morality of their position:

If you do not accept any comparison is valid short of the target actually literally being a Nazi, then your opinion on the matter is worthless because nothing can change it. If no weight affects it, then it has no weight itself

So what is the historical precedent about which both Pagey and Arecbalrin are clearly ignorant? This Time Line, although others contain the same information, gives an indication of long build-up to the Aktion T4 mass killing of disabled children and adults.

March 22, 1933 – Nazis open Dachau concentration camp near Munich, to be followed by Buchenwald near Weimar in central Germany, Sachsenhausen near Berlin in northern Germany, and Ravensbrück for women.

April 1, 1933 – Nazis stage boycott of Jewish shops and businesses.

Thereafter increasingly stringent measures were taken against the Jewish populations of Germany and Nazi occupied Poland and Czechoslovakia.

March 24, 1933 – German Parliament passes Enabling Act giving Hitler dictatorial powers.

It was in October 1939 when Nazis began euthanasia on sick and disabled people in Germany.

On August 3, 1941, a Catholic Bishop, Clemens von Galen, delivered a sermon in Münster Cathedral attacking the Nazi euthanasia program calling it “plain murder.” The sermon sent a shockwave through the Nazi leadership by publicly condemning the program and urged German Catholics to “withdraw ourselves and our faithful from their (Nazi) influence so that we may not be contaminated by their thinking and their ungodly behavior.”

As a result, on August 23, Hitler suspended Aktion T4, which had accounted for nearly a hundred thousand deaths by this time.

However, the Nazi “euthanasia” programme quietly continued, but without the widespread gassings. Drugs and starvation were used instead and doctors were encouraged to decide in favor of death whenever euthanasia was being considered.

arecbalrin on “the actions of the Nazis”

These have become part of the framing of history; the gassing of prisoners was over-egged because nations frequently worked people to death on purpose and if that was the main method the Nazis used and the Nazis are bad because of it, what does that make us who did the same?

It says a lot about the decline of the Guardian’s editorial control of its media that such a comment, from one of its ‘golden posters’, has been allowed to remain on its website for over 14 hours. There was a time when such denialist ranting would have received the most stern rebukes from both moderators and fellow posters. So where are those that claim to spend their lives “bashing the fash”?

Update 1

I make no hesitation in quoting selectively if only because of ArecBalrin’s attempts to disguise his obscene rantings within vast quantities of irrelevant commentary.

the Coalition which is acting like the Nazis

The Coalition are not Nazis, they just want to behave like Nazis

To illustrate my position: the Coalition are either ‘like Nazis’ or ‘unlike Nazis’ in their treatment of sick and disabled people. My position is that they are ‘like’

But nowhere in his comparing the Nazis with the Coalition does he mention racial supremacy which is what underlay the holocaust. So where is this racial supremacy within the coalition, within Britain’s multi-cultural society? Or is that an inconvenient truth he can dispense with?

The “world’s only consulting autistic” can in one breath dismiss the extermination of 6 million Jews in order in the next, to  use as cheap emotional blackmail the inconvenience suffered by a comparatively tiny number of people, from a badly managed work assessment procedure.

And with this partial analysis of Nazism Balrin allies himself with the other CiF holocaust deniers – Backtothepoint and his disciple BeautifulBurnout.

Between the late 1970s and 2010 spending on Social security and Health increased from one third of public spending to one half. And this increase was presided over by both Labour and Conservative governments. This is another inconvenient truth that Balrin and his followers refuse to contemplate.

Update 2

RichJames comes out four square in support of ArecBalrin’s disgraceful performance:

”Just ignore them, Arec. I’m aware of the small campaign of bullying which is being organised off site”.

So RichJames considers that those opposing ArecBalrin’s denial of the uniqueness of the holocaust and his portrayal the UK’s Coalition Government as Nazis,  are bullies.

Priceless.

And if further proof were needed, here’s his dismissive statement a little earlier:

Does anybody want to talk about anything other than moderation, Nazis, or the middle east*?

Pumpkin carving maybe? A Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Themed Watermelon Inside a Halloween Pumpkin, for instance. Or the most amazing film-nerd Jack O Lanterns. I’m dead impressed by the Superman lazer-beam eyes rendering.

Update 3

So ArecBalrin is now trying to distance himself from holocaust denial with full blown obfuscation – Just as the Iraq war was ‘Vietnam again’, which was denied when that comparison was made.

So now the man is trying his best to denigrate the courageous anti-colonialist, struggle of the Vietnamese for independence. Three words for the ignorant Balrin – Dien Bien Phu.

Update 4

And now a confession:

The Nazi comparison is not meant to be persuasive, it is meant to be insulting and it is meant to be remembered for later.

Well I’m sure it will be remembered,  but more for its petulance than its insult.

Update 5

FoodbankBritain joins the Labour – Conservative – Lib-Dem Equal Nazis Gang    3 November 2012 12:55PM

Atos benefits bullies killed my sick dad, says devastated Kieran,

http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottish-news/atos-killed-my-dad-says-boy-1411100

I accuse British Politicians in the 3 main parties and civil servants in the DWP of behaving like Nazis and using techniques common in the early years of the Third Reich to demonise the sick and disabled and to punish them for the illness and disabilities.

Update 6

walkerno5 who has taken a principled view on ArecBalrin’s Nazi comparisons responded to RichJames’ whining about a “campaign of bullying”. walkerno5 posted:

Arec’s post was a response to one of mine.

We clearly disagree wildly on appropriate comparisons. But I can’t see how my disagreement is more unreasonable than the comparison itself.

I’m not aware of any “campaign” of “bullying”.

So, exactly who are you accusing and of what?

Rather an understatement from walkerno5 and not surprisingly RichJames declined to comment despite finding time to post a further 39 times in less than 21 hours.

With outstanding fortitude, BeautifulBurnout stepped into the breach with: (the post at 9:53pm was deleted by the moderators).

He’s talking about another rather nasty place where a rather sad multiple-banned person and his trusty team of two or three equally sad side-kicks, spends their time snooping around here for comments to misrepresent, misunderstand and  generally spout shite about.

The blog “owner” rather sees himself as infused with the righteousness of Job. He doesn’t realise that he is actually nothing more than the Perez Hilton of CiF. And that’s flattering him.

A rather nasty place – sounds like a back street pole dancing joint at which of course, MrsBootstraps is a regular visitor.

Job was known for his righteousness and self-righteousness, but more so for his patience.

And anyone who thinks I’m a sad  person should have a look at the photographs on the site – many taken in the company of a number of fine, real life (as opposed to virtual) friends.

But there is no “trusty team” here MrsB – this is a sole proprietor operation, and shortly I’ll be publishing your wildest accusations, carefully referenced, and rebut each one.

Of course a few people do post on the single thread open to them and are able to deposit there, among other things, what’s rejected on CiF. And yes I’ve been banned many times from CiF and the Untrusted, but always for devastating counter arguments to the likes of MrsB and her submissives and never for the foul mouthed abuse that’s found on both, particularly the latter. And that’s what she’s so upset about.

As a practising barrister I’d expected rather better from her.

Update 7

A remarkable absentee from those condemning ArecBalrin has been Comment is Free’s resident scourge of the British National Party, the English Defence League and radical feminism, the winner of the David Cameron Bootstrapper of the Year Award, BeautifulBurnout.

How many nights has she dedicated herself almost single handedly to take on and defeat the massed ranks of those two organisations, the BNP and EDF,  whose members infest Comment is Free whenever their racist agendas are challenged?

Not that she was absent from the two threads where ArecBalrin was spouting his crude denialist propaganda. Here she is yesterday at 9.37pm instructing kizbot:

I’ve been fighting off bigots and racists ever since I started posting in 2008, Kiz.

But not it would appear the bigotry of ArecBalrin.

And neither it would appear from this post in October 2008 responding to an accusation that:

“Scotland Yard had become a racist police institution.”

with:

Has become? Has always been, more like.

Update 9

Could this be the origin of Arecbalrin’s comfort at equating people he disagrees with as Nazis? Here is is way back in April 2009:

“The lesson about Hitler and the Nazi’s is that they were very normal people”
